I’m in the process of putting together a list of cake flavors, cookies and baked goodness. I’ll post it with prices as soon as it’s complete! Hope everyone had a fantastic holiday.
I did this cake for a co-worker’s baby shower. It was Cat in the Hat themed. I covered the cake with fondant and hand painted it with food coloring. It was really fun to do and a great experiment in painting with food coloring. I did the painting so it mimicked the look of a Dr. Seuss book with the strong black sketch lines.
This was a cupcake cake that I did for a little girl who loves the Corpse Bride. The cupcakes were delicious cookies and cream flavored with chocolate buttercream frosting. One of my favorites.
I did these scrumptious sugar cookies (my favorite!) for a little boy’s birthday party. They were decorated with royal icing and packaged in individual baggies.
One of my favorite flavors, cookies and cream cupcakes.
These margarita cupcakes are delicious and taste just like the real thing. They are made with a lime cake and lime buttercream and topped with a tiny bit of salt to mimic the rim of the glass.
This was a mola cake that I did for my grandparents 52 wedding anniversary. A mola is a textile from Panama that is made by hand in the San Blas islands. My grandparents lived in Panama for 10 years where my grandmother had a very successful business making clothes from these wonderful pieces of art. My grandfather is a sailor so it was a natural fit to do a mola of a sailboat. It will always be one of my favorites.
Thanks for visiting! More to come soon…
